“Without a vision the people perish” (Proverbs 9:18). We are compelled to see and have a vision for the harvest as Jesus, himself, views it. With 4+ million unchurched people living in the Northwestern District and our combined inclusive membership at approximately 18,000, we have a long way to go before we reach the saturation point.
If in fact, the starting of new, healthy, Great Commission churches, is one of the most effective ways of reaching people for Christ, then the “Harvest” compels each of us to ask what role God would have us to play in seeing this happen. The question we need to be answering, therefore, is not “why?” but “why not?”
Please remember to pray for our church planters and their families as they strive to do their part to fulfill the Great Commission.
